Parakeets are a sibling duo from Düsseldorf, consisting of Julius and Merle Eckardt who serve a musical niche with a unique blend of indie pop, jazz, folk and bossa influences that sounds both danceable and intimate. With their charismatic stage presence and live looping elements, their shows are a real experience. The duo is currently working on their debut album, supported by the state of NRW.
